About the Project

CircularStart addresses the need of know-how of start-ups and entrepreneurs in the field of Circular Economy, to transit towards more sustainable Business Models. The project brings together 9 partners from four EU countries, and aims at supporting incubators and consultants in sustainability and circularity trainings for start-ups.

The project is a 2-year ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership, funded by the European Union through SEPIE, the Spanish National Agency for International Education.

Why

Many start-ups and young entrepreneurs bringing fresh and disruptive ideas to the market cannot benefit from sustainable business opportunities due to a lack of know-how on how to create circular Business Models.

CircularStart aims to fill the gap between the need and the availability of trainings for mission-driven start-ups, ready to implement circular and sustainable strategies into their Business Models. By means of innovative trainings and practical tools, start-ups integrate relevant know-how into the process of developing business ideas and decision-making.

Objective

CircularStart will provide innovative training materials on sustainable and circular Business Models, to support incubators, trainers and consultants to offer future-oriented trainings for start-ups.
In turn, start-ups and young entrepreneurs increase their know-how on sustainability and Circular Economy issues related to their Business Models, allowing them to evaluate and improve the environmental, social and economic impacts of their business ideas right from the beginning.

Knowledge Hub

The knowledge hub is currently under development and will be available in the beginning of 2021.
